Part of the SPAL Group (based in
Correggio, Italy), Sempal Limited was founded in 1993 by
partners Eric Foster and Matthew Morris to import SPAL
Automotive accessories for distribution to the UK motor vehicle
industry.
SPAL were founded in Correggio (Reggio Emilia) in 1959 and
initially specialized in plastic mold design and production.
SPAL have been designing and producing high performance axial
fans and centrifugal blowers for the automotive sector for more
than 30 years. In 1985 SPAL established their aftermarket
division to manufacture power windows, central door locking and
vehicle security alarms. More recently the aftermarket product
include parking distance sensors, reversing cameras, cruise
control and GPS vehicle tracking solutions. Today SPAL covers
an area of more than 35,000 square metres, employs 500 people
and generates a turnover of more than 500,000,000 Euros.
During the past 2 years SPAL have put a massive amount of resource behind designing and
manufacturing a
competitively priced CAN Bus interface that is
reliable and easy to install. As a result we now have two
CAN interfaces available that are currently compatible with
150+ vehicles (see attached application list), these devices
read the vehicles CAN data on the vehicle and provide
variety of outputs including speed pulse, ignition supply,
reverse gear, handbrake, RPM, lights, clutch,
driver/passenger doors open, boot/bonnet open, making SPAL
CAN interfaces the ideal choice for a wide range of
applications.
Each CAN
Bus interface comes complete with a USB lead to enable
connection to a PC, this allows future database updates to
be freely downloaded from our website ensuring stocks don’t
become obsolete.
Sempal prides itself on its supply record and
